I think this the best shammy sheild for early levels for 2 reasons - lite enough to carry as a spare AND sv poison IS REALLY IMPORTANT when we use our poison AoE's (when in close qtrs) so as not hit ourselves too hard.
Got it at lvl 21 - a little late but its ez to get by yourself. Frogloks in |

I have been there for a while and although anything is possible here is the list as I know it: Cohort drops Gi, Follower drops gloves, Invoker drops legs, Evoker drops shoes, Believer drops headband, and Acolyte drops sleeves. There has been absolutely no variation on this, it's ALWAYS the same.

there is also a caster only robe that drops and gives a perm 36% (I do believe it is 36) haste. Used in conjunction ...... hmmm. Just a thaught to ponder. All in all I would have to say that both those items are laughable. Next thing you know VI will be making Items with clarity for my warrior ... L |

Since there are so many of us dealing with this faction issue, I figured I would put to rest a couple of things that I have found. First, Dru is NOT on any faction system in Kaldim. actually... when you get to a level high enough to actually travel into ToV, you will understand why clerics DO need the AC more than a ranger or a rogue. First of all: At such a high level, a cleric's heal is one of the top 3 taunt factors available (and some think it is the biggest taunt factor) |

OK, this is from a Ranger. Why is my taunt factor not high enough to get me melee'd in a fight? At that level I will be dual weaponing with weapons that have a very low delay factor, using spells that add a Damage Proc to both weapons, doing as much damage if not more than the warrior and hitting |

Note the name: BreastPLATE of superiority. It is a plate item, and is thus available only to the plate classes. Other classes may not get as good AC as this because that is one of the drawbacks to that class. For instance, rangers and rogues are examples of a chain class. In exchange for superio |

Hmm, well, EverQuest is very much based on paper and dice type roleplaying games... rangers in the new version of D&D, for example, only can dual wield (basically - they could do it anyway, but big minuses to hit) when they are wearing a certain weight of armor or less (light I think, which chainmai |

Please please PLEASE you guys saying rangers need plate, we can easily out-taunt warriors learn how to use your ranger. The cleric didn't say "You can't out-taunt" a warrior, if you try hard enough of course you can. The point is, you're not supposed to be trying to outtaunt the warrior. If you're a |

What he was saying is that rangers can easily out damage many warriors since their Agility and other stats make them hit more... faster, and many other reasons.... aside from a chanter, bard, and cleric... ranger has probably the highest taunting power (without slamming the taunt button that is..).. |

First of all, when attacking mobs, the rogues backstab does large amounts of damage that will not be represented during a duel. Who outdamages whom in a duel i |

Rangers are not restricted by people in EQ, or as you call them 'morons'. They are restricted because they are not designed to be as good at tanking as a warrior. They are not designed to cast as well as a druid. That is why rangers are considered 'hybrid' classes, meaning they are a little of both, |

First off, AC matters even if you're not the primary tank. Rampage is AE melee, and an extremely common ability among ubermobs. It helps to be able to reduce damage you'll take from that. Second, in xp-groups, a ranger can function as a primary tank just fine... provided you have as high AC as possi |
