Timzai here, I've given up on the medical profession for the time being, while I already have a half updated version, it sadly will not be completed.
If you wish to complete the guide under your name you're welcome to, but please contact me before hand: kamikazi_pilot@hotmail.com

As an ex-doc, I would suggest zabrak over any other race simply due to their superior willpower; the one most important stat IMO.

This helped me alot as I began this profession in Beta. Beta being what it was there were a few small changes by the end:
1) Novice starts with one pet on the field at a time, but can store 2 on data pad.
2) On Betas final day, you could transfer the pet control icon on datapad to Trade Windo |

I know this will likely be an unpopular thought, but it's my fond hope that pets grow a lot slower in release. My Rancs grew to full grown adults in a week, and that's just wrong IMHO. I'd like to see pets take a few weeks to grow. We're already going to see folks with 1 Rancor, 1 Graul, and Hana |

Very nice Info, during Beta I was also an Artisan and found out near the end that you can setup a Macro to get samples, this way you don't have to sit at Computer and be VERY bored. I got a small sample of the Macro needed but did not get it perfected before Beta ended :( this I will work on after |

Regarding Crafting XP, you get most of the XP by crafting items and only a little from using them. You can easily advance to Org Chem I without ever using a Stimpack-A.
I agree about the usefulness of taking Artisan along with Medic. It's very difficult to be a purist in this game. Everyone wi |

I find traps to be a valuable part of the Scout arsenal. You have traps to damage, debuff, snare/root, and stun. If used effectively traps can dramatically improve your odds in combat and reduce downtime.
Bone spur does some minor damage to the target and so acts like an additional shot. It's |

And when I say "medics", I mean Medics, Doctors and Combat Medics. Medic is the starting profession, Doc and CM are advanced professions (with bigger heals). Where a medic heals your action bar for about 70-240, a Doc or CM might heal it for 300-1200. You can keep dancing indefinitely with |

- As of the end of beta, the # stat points able to be migrated was 1800, NOT 2700. I apologize for the error.
- Format seems to have gone a little wonky in transit. Hopefully it will be repaired soon, I'm guessing the team at Allakhazam's is swamped though :)

Just a note from the author of this guide. I don't have the retail game yet, so I can't post on the official medic forum (but I can read it).

It's odd that no one has said this yet, and it needs to be said: Thanks for the guide, Tale, it is a great resource and it is written very clearly. It will affect, in a good way, how I create and advance my Doctor. Thanks again,

How do you become an apprentice scout? I see that there is a box in the professions screen for master scout, but I don't see one for Apprentice, any information would be great. |
