Sarltooth frequently spawns on a ledge on the south end of the Excavation Site that can be hard to see how to reach. Go to the west side of the site and there's a path leading up. He frequently spawns with one or two other raptors with him. |

When mastadon says "to the left or the right" he means WAY to the left or to the right. We finally found her after about an hour of searching. You have to go far enough to the right (where we found her) that you cannot see the river anymore. Big silver spider. Lvl 12 ;) |

As you run north on the road to Felwood, you will see fallen marble pillars on the left just before the landscape changes.
If you get to the red sandstone rock on the east (right) side of the road you are too far. Back up about 25 steps turn west. This is a dirt path toward some marble pillars.
