The Catch 22 of SolA (and Permafrost) |

Hiya,
After reading the bucketfuls of helpful hints about grouping in SolA (and Permafrost), I'd like to point out one glaring detail...there's nobody in these levels to group with.
I was looking in Permafrost for an Ice Goblin Skin when I was lucky enough to hook up with a (much) higher lev |

Here's the scoop on TT.
You need a tracker. Can't live without one. This is a huge zone, and there are lots of wandering mobs that will aggro you even in the upper 50's.
Hunting the Forager / Hunter is pretty straightforward. Each Forager / Hunter has three possible 'tracks' that they spawn |

i will add yet another point of advice , the lvl area is suited for pre 35 and even at 32 the exp drains to a small walk.
the major part that i find intresting is this is suited for highly twinked groups that have already got 50 plus charater and want a challange and nolonger see cash/lvling exp |

Not sure if you still read this thread but I loved your novels. I couldn't get enough of them back then and used to wait for new ones to come out for months on end.
If you actually want to be a god character sometime and see the high end game I could do that for you. Guess it would be awful har |

I think I may have been in error when I made this post. I looked at the beastiary and
saw that an enraged goblin was lvl 8-9 and assumed that wasn't it. After actually

Everfrost is great |

In my opinion, Everfrost is the best newbie area! It has alot of low lvl spowns, two of which (gnolls and goblins) can raise you faction with Halas. It has lvl 1 bears which drop pels which can be used for leather, and Guards don't wander around KSing everything you pull! |

You buy suspensions from poison vendors. They can be tricky to find since no one really wants them in town ;-). There is a vendor in West Karana, another in Freeport in a secret tunnel in the wall outside the gate, another in Dagnor's Cauldron, another in Lesser Feydark and one at the windmill in |

First - get leather! It's very good at low lvls, and it wont be hard to find. Second, kill gnolls and goblins. The give faction and good xp and loot. Third, buy all the spells you can afford.Fouth, do the inate symbol of the tribunal quest. It's relitivley easy, and it's very, very good. Last, kill |

I have been practicing forage at every opportunity and I just don't seem to be gaining at all! I have a wood elf druid ranked at "good" for foraging. Once you reach a certain point do things become *trivial* or something?

Beware friends... Don't think that you can go to the Entrance to Permafrost and jsut mooch loot from the hunters there. Beware not to show up during a fight - especially if lowbie druids are hunting there... their snair kiting usually runs the ice giants all over the tundra before their dots finish |

Gabriel was often found sitting here, perched on a small boulder in the midst of the Faydark. His eyes, a bright blue, were focused on a distant nothing. He was dressed in the cloth garb of the woodland youth, and in his hands he held the small hunting bow that every woodchild was given at birth.
