Hmmm, tough one Kressh. Killing the Chief gives the same hits as orcs/gnolls within High Pass, albeit a bit slower. It was rather quick for me, but I did it as a human, so they were a little quicker to come around. The orc scalps (I turned in around 20 or so) got me up to indifferent from dubiously |

The big problem everybody seems to be having is that if Ambassador Gash kills the assassin, the corpse is gone and you don't get anything.
The solution? Keep Gash from getting involved in the fight.
I figured this out on my third try at the assassin, and the assassin killed me easily: my rang |

This quest isn't really helpful if you are already too high to get exp. This quest lowers Freeport Militia and raises the the two temples, not very useful. There is also only one piranha which takes awhile to spawn. However, the piranha doesn't move around so is easy to find. |

Chances for crits are determined by your DEX. AGI determines how much you get hit and how much damage you take, you will also get AC bonuses for high AGI. Your STR isn't bad for a level 21.

Fire giants are some of the most challenging monsters for their level range. Immune to magic cast from outside their melee range, giant flagged (meaning they cannot be stunned or mesmerized), with respectable melee damage and health, they can be daunting foes. You raised a good point, Rianne.
It is indeed worth keeping your melee skills maxxed out, preferably in 1hs, 1hb and 2hb (if you're going to skip one, skip 2hb- wisdom-adding item should be caried in off-hand at all times) for the very reason you stated. In addition, some MoBs, notably the gnolls |

Thanx Braun, You really helped straighten me up on this stuff:) I thought for sure it was only weapon skills that helped the hit ratio but now I know STR can help some too. Will look into it. Thanks.

Get your butt to Kunark and camp the Forest Giants in Warsliks Woods. Their level ranges are from mid teens to about 27, you can kite them along the trails because they have low magic resist, PLUS they have a rare drop - the forest loop (worth about 1,000 - 1,300pp). They're a constant spawn, and yo |
