Having played a troll for 51 levels I think I can safely say that I know quite alot about the pro's and con's of playing our esteemed race.
First lets look at the good things about being a troll :)
1)We are rare at higher levels. My number one reason for choosing a troll, was the fact that t |

The most important feature of this area is the fact that the iksar outcasts spawn here, which drop the skulls for a shaman quest (don't remember which ones, but I think it's the ancestor quest). |

There is an excellent spot to do solo or with a group of 2. As you enter the swamp from the SouthWest zone entrance (from Firona Vie) Head East NorthEast. You'll see the head from a giant Iksar statue. Head east from that and you'll see some ruins.
Set up camp just west of those ruins. There |

One of the best weapons to give to your pet is the relatively inexpensive gnoll hide lariat. The weapon drops from splitpaw gnolls, and can be bought relatively cheaply from players. The weapon processes a stun effect on the monsters. This is great for interrupting spells as well as keeping the dama |

When Kunark first opened, one of the first dungeons we explored was Kaesora. As you first enter, you'll notice that dead ahead of you is a tunnel, which terminates in a long shaft downwards. With a high-30s, low-40s group, it's not an entirely bad idea to just drop down the shaft into the middle of |

On the way to City of Mist, circle the walls. This zone is densely populated with npcs, and if you were to get jumped on your way there, and your party makes the mistake of stopping to fight - you may just end up with 12 or more npcs on your hands in short order. |

The yard trash of this zone may be some of the most rewarding in the game to a mid-30s group. Not very difficult, a large number of them, and Kedge is believed to have one of the greatest (or greatest) xp modifiers of any dungeon in the game.
I discourage xping deeper in for higher level groups - |

I just started a human paladin (now level 7) and have been surprised that non-human cleric and paladin NPCs are apprehensive. I've travelled to Rivervale, Kaladim and Felwithe, and none of them will trust me even with the most basic quests.

I had tried the 'new paw' on numerous occasions during the height of the period of overcrowding on the servers. At the levels in which you can still make xp from this place, it's generally a poor choice compared to almost any other comparable-level dungeon. The loot is generally of very poor quality |

Crafted is really matter of money, since each peice needs gems to complete. Most of the items that you need for crafted are no drop, so most will just leave it on the body. The quest is actually started by Manik Compolten in the warrior guild, called Gemchoppers Hall. He will not give the quest, if faction is too low. So first you may have to raise faction. This can be done by hunting clockwork rogues and returning the desired parts to him, or by fighting minos. Aqua G |

Many people treat breaking the Efreeti Lord Djarn camp as a two-group affair. This is not true. The efreeti is moderately challenging to break with a single group of high-40s or low-50s, but far from impossible. Just make sure you have a competent enchanter, a competent cleric, and strong melee type |
