To get wallin to give you the message I said "I will help you." The important part being the word WILL. I tried "I want to help you." and he did not give me the message. Once I said "I will help you." he coughed it up. |

The chicks aren't very rare - they seem to spawn in waves in the newbie area outside Kaladim. I've done this one several times. Usually tattered armor but i've also had two bronze weapons from it and decent exp for the levels required.
When I turn in talons, I'm offered another quest to turn in |

There seems to be quite a lot of confusion not only on playing a warrior but also creating one.
I will deal first with creating a warrior.
On creating a warrior you have three main choices.
1. Create a warrior to do massive damage.
2. Create a warrior to do lots of critical hits

There is a Human Monk NPC to worry about who stands next to the innkeeper between the main door to hogcallers and the room with trissa. Beleive the name was Hyril Pon. He was KOS to my erudite necro the first time I set foot in Freeport. He has bad faction hits including freepo |

Thanks Hastur. Hyril is defintely annoying to non-human necromancers, and while easy to beat (he is only level 8), you dont want a) the faction hits or b) the added trouble while attacking Trissa/Shae. He is also involved in the Hollow Skull quest (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/allakhazam/quest. |

Agreed, as almost every druid or ranger knows - snare everything. But the most important thing I think most druids need to know is that Shield of Thorn seires of spells will outdamage what you can do with whatever weapon of yours you have. ALWAYS CAST IT and then, personally, I chose to sit. Then |

You spend levels 1-4 on the newbie stuff in misty thicket. At 5 you get new spells and can cross the wall to solo/group goblins where you will stay til 9. At 9 you get treeform for great exp and you get a damage shield (5 points i think), couple these with harmony and you can solo the orc camp unl |

A few bits of advice about LH.
While grouping, choose carefully whom you use your LH on. If you are in somewhere pleasant and safe like lguk, and the wiz is saying 'i'm trying to evac but i'm almost dead, and the tank says i'm almost dead from taunting things off the cannon, you've gotta choose w |

1. Slow is your greates weapon ie.. Togars Tugers ect. Tanks will love you for them
2. Always have a Cleric and Enchanter with you. One you cant heal nearly as good as clerics and you wast alot of manna. Two enchanters can keep everybody alive with mez and clarity well nuf |

Why didn't you just be a ranger?
Did you know that wood elves are the weakest of all warriors?
well these were questions from some of the more "simple" people who don't understand that rangers are NOT a tank. Sorry to all those who think the |

Very good advice on the Thorn line of spells - I have noticed in my long series of travels that few druids actually use this spell on their tanks. I believe some of the above information is inaccurate.
Agility affects Armor Class (though not Armor Class increasing skills like Dodge or Parry).
Dexterity affects the frequency of BOTH Weapon Procs AND Critical Hits.

The ancient croc in Upper Guk is a good place to fight when you are 31; just remember that you need to root and either blast or DoT them to death - no room to kite. Another good possibility is to go to Highkeep and get into a Warrior / Raider room group. I have heard that a character can stay in the |

Well, when Kunark first came out, I found a glorious haven of experience. The Overthere had not been really explored at that time, and the most people I ever saw in zone was approx 5-7. While exploring, I found an excellent place to hunt. Travel across the zone until you reach the zone to the Sky |

I don't recommend the Kelethin Warrior quest for Bone Chips, Ruined Wolf Pelts, Bat Fur, and Spiderling Eyes.
