| Actually, I see this as a huge cleric item. 99.9% of the spells clerics cast use... guess what... alteration. The +mana isn't enough to make this too pure caster friendly (the intelligence is waaay easily maxed), and the charisma is only really used by enchanters (no, merchants don't count). | ||||

| Yes, I suspect that this item will be changed or removed, the quest will be changed, or all of the above. The guy that gives this quest gives two others as well, and the quality of the weapons that result are drastically different.
