| Wow this is huge! After doing the freaking rod quest all over the planet they nerf it to a drop spell. This is one of the only quests that you can do without a 7 hour camp of some kind. | This weapon is decent. The int is good. The resists are awesome. The proc sucks. Everyone knows wizards aren't melee. The mana and hp is good. The damage and delay are outstanding. But, the fact is, over half the stuff on this item are useless. In my opinion, use something else with better mana | ||||

| I think the name comes from the Snare effect; breaks the mob's ankles, thus rendering it slow moving and unable to run away. :) | ||||

| Just to let you know, the wizzy's main use is to nuke, just way to many players think that porting/translocating is primary. It ain't. If their main use was to port, they'd get their port spells quite a bit earlier then druids. | ||||

| Nope. Newbie dagger has the exact same stats as this. Heavier though, If I recall correctly. Not that this is an upgrade either, but since it's from Luclin, it probably looks nicer. | ||||

| I have also come across this creature and it conned even to me, 26 paladin. Fairly fast hits 50-60 and it does bash. Had to use LH cause it did over 600 damage to me, I was thinking "hmm no need to heal up...it should be easy like all the rest." wrong...smacked my fat head around. | ||||

| First off why is a 29 Cleric posting about SK weapons? And why make yourself look so ignorant? Sure back in the old world 2H slash was all any SK needed, but after Kunark we had MoSS 1HB, Deathbringer Rod 2HB, Noct Blade 1HS and with Velious they made peircing a viable option (War Lances).
