What he was trying to say was that it wasnt either of those... that its applied to the % chance of failure at the end. | I found a Moon Jewel on a Large Zelniak in Dawnshroud Peaks. I also found a Meteor Jewel off the same mobs. I got the 2 Jewels in 40 kills or so. | ||||

| That's not quite right - against the right sort of creature, the Bane number adds to the damage number of the weapon directly -- so, against Sonic Wolves, this is a 7/21 weapon. Given that the quests are intended for 20ish characters, that's pretty decent. | ||||

| +10 int/wis at level 60 comes out to what? +60 mana? So a caster would get 50 mana + 60 mana off this thing? Plus the AC to decrease chance of being hit, plus 50 hp + approx 30 hp from STA increase? And all this in the primary slot. | ||||

| It drops off one of the grape apes in zone. Named a Seer. Guild group zoned in to camp for the night and the guy was standing at the zone line. We killed him and the bard won the random on it. | ||||

| ummm, each point of wis/int at lvl 60 gives more than 10 mana... therefore 10 wis would prolly give somewhere around 150 mana, at lvl 50 1 wis = 10 mana | ||||

| My first character was given one of these on his first day out before Irealised what was going on.
Of course about half an hour later I wandered into EC and was eaten by a Lioness. Didn't have the first idea where I was and of course could never find my corpse again.

| From the name of the item and the mob I would guess this drops somewhere at the grimling camp. I have killed the chieftain at least 50 times and never seen a Gleeknot Gnitrat anywhere near his hut, so I may be wrong. If anyone knows an exact spawn point it would be much appreciated. | ||||
