That Ancient Rockhopper is a bit tougher than you might think... the BABS is definitely better... but don't expect to get the Tribal Warblade that easily... not only is the Ancient Rockhopper a tough kill, but he also doesn't drop the remains that often... and then you have to deal with all the peop |

Pine Scout Armor Shopping List:
The closest places I could find spiderling silks for this quest are Everfrost and Toxxulia Forest. The combine is no-fail. You might want to pick up sharpening stones while you are there. Get a stack, they're cheap!

Team up with ranger when close to defiler's level. Trade helping them kill Yollis Jenkins for the head they need for their weapon in return for their help getting the defiler's head.
Get it a level or two sooner that way. |

I got him last night and killed him. He's on the second floor of Black Burrow. Dropped the battleplans on the first death :)
Reward for this quest is a Dam 9 Delay 33 Mace. Magic Item No Drop.

Yollis Jenkins is tough level 12 who could beat me in melee at level 13 with full quest armour.
To get the weapon sooner either:
1) Bow-kite him along the road to Surefall
2) druids need to kill the Bloodsaber Defiler in Surefall for their weapon - team up with a druid to kill both quest mobs |

I finished the entire quest last night. The lock of scarecrow straw drops from 'Animated Scarecrows' in Western Karana. These critters hit really darn hard (in the 30s) and con'd Lt. Blue and Dk. Blue to my level 19 cleric. You can find them in the Miller family's field.

The 2nd (or was it 3rd?) island's last mob dropped this, the "boss" I guess. I don't remember his name, but he was one of those red flying imps, except named. |

I assume you mean the Songweaver stuff. Yes, the quests are quite similiar, but they do all have different requirements, and the items you get have different stats as well. |

WOW !!! Compare this to the Scimitar the Halfling Druids get. WAY better. It gets an extra +1 Sta, 3 better delay, 1 better damage and weighs 6.5 stones less !!!
My Halfling is green with envy (well he is green anyway, but...)

Be sure you get 2 bricks of Crude Iron, 2 field rat skulls, 2 coyote skulls, and 2 grapes. After you make the first bracer, hail Vansted and say 'want craft bracers' again for a second mold. This will give you extra AC, AGI, and WIS with minimal effort, since you have 2 wrist slots.

it's a rating of ratio, not an overall rating. The ratio alone between so and so range is commented at amazing. Lets say you have 100 damage 10 delay weapon, with neg 2000 hp. It would prolly be godly or something like that even though it sucks cause you won't live long enough to do a decent amount |

especially with AA ability that they can bs from anywhere. can we say rog cleric chanter group? :)
maybe throw a shaman in there for dex buffs, but you wouldn't need em ;)
