If you talk to the erudite Professor in the mill at Lake of Ill Omen, he tells you all about the history of Kunark and the medallion and how it was segmented into 3 pieces. A piece of a medallion drops in the dining room of the Sarnak Fort in LOIO. Good Luck :)

I have sat here countless times to med and thankfully always have a pet up.
Mobs do wander in to the entrance to of CoM. And when they begin to run, they run down the corridor where the zone point would be. So root them if you want to loot them.

This is an EXCELLENT monk weapon.
I use one on my lvl 25 iksar monk (Hammish, Veeshan server). I use it in my primary and use a bare fist for secondary.

Air elementals are semi common, low exp and never drop anything, sit in EC long enough you'll see someone running to tunnel shouting Elemental on me help, they are only there to annoy youngens |

correction i have got a halfling buddy but we still might need a tank 5-7 who hits hard (eg i hit for about 20) and some one who is good at healing deseases given out by some of the creatures (ie snakes mummies)

The only time you'll see regular Dwarf bandits are on the road north of the guard house with Delin Ironblend at it (I think that's the one; near the Goblin Warriors). I've taken out a few of them - they're something like 5th or 6th level.

There are changes brewing in EW, which I experienced first hand the other night.
Going to help friends kill Coldain, we went to teh Drummon Coldshanks camp. Lo and behold, Drummon is no longer there! In his hut are 4 bodyguards and a captain, all BLUE to me at 54!
