I got this wep in 2 days fighting Clawbeasts at lvl 14/15. I have used it to keep up my 1HB skills, paired with my horns of spirits it is a nice combo that I still use at lvl 30for the str +3 and sta +3 adds. Not as nice as my slime covered harpoon but a great way to keep skills up.

This is a monk only item.. LOL, sorry couldn't resist. You are right though, not one monk has even posted here about this being a monk item. By the time this is obtainable any desent monk is going to have better in there range slot. Also the majority of monks go for AC/Str gear over Agility gear. |

Got one off a crystal spiderLING last night in Crystal Caverns.
Effect is Velium Shards, Zero Range, 7 second cast, 12 hit points maximum damage.
Can't be used for pulling, do more melee damage in 7 seconds H2H as a monk.
