	45ac on a range slot item. Major tank item. 10 str in a nice bonus. This is better than a lot of breastplates worn by lvl 55 pcs. Congrats to Lotus Cult for getting this, and to the desrving soul who ended up with it.

	Does not drop off the chick for the LSoEE, or rather SoEE now, quest, its a random off the higher level bandits. the quest dagger is the Ancient Ornate Combine dagger, or some such thing. edit: Retnaburn, look at your wording, that wasnt a flame, it just looks like you're saying its used in the LS

	I was thinking the exact same thing...one would think that the item would at least contain some wisdom/intelligence, or maybe even a skill modification to meditate, but no! Although I must say, it is a great range item nonetheless...just dont expect to see my enchanter walking around with a stack

	I agree... very nice AC. STR never hurts, and the weight is effectively 5.0 if you offset it with the STR.

	My Beastlord got the shells for this while hunting for scorpion legs and picked one of these up. Considering the minimal time investment and low level needed, this is a pretty nice reward. Especially since a non-twinked character isn't going to have anything else to put in their ear slots yet.

	I noticed that while in BlackBurrow the other day that alot of gnolls were wearing a MNK/BL H2H weapon. The only problem with this is that there was some high lvls in the area so they coulda been planted there for the lower lvls to find

	cough before complaining about monks saying this is should a 'monk only item', maybe you should wait till one actually -says- this should be a monk only item herring and btw, most of the people i see complaining are druids about the lack of gear (and rightfully so, imo)

	I submitted this myself a week or two ago. I'll have to check but that screen shot may be old. It is definitely Range equipable (gave one to my rogue - very handy at level 5 :) It always dropped of the Recodite Burglars for me (note the spelling) and you can see it when they are carrying it. T

	Dragoon Dirk drops off Dorn B Dyn or Ambassador Dvinn. Both are level 18-22 mobs that hit 2-3x harder than any of the bandits in this camp. The Dragoon Dirk is much better weapon than the Bandit dirk. 6/23 +2dex +3MR. Sure it looks the same, but the two weapons are totally different.

	"common"! thats hilarious! bet ive killed hundreds of the shredders, deathmaws and claw beasts and so far i have one deathmaw claw for this quest and nothing else . .. these are rarer than those mysterious bloodbulks people have rumoured about.

	I agree, verant screwed up the drop rates for this quest just like the bloodbulk carapace quest. There is no way to collect enough of the claws and get the reward at a level where these weapons are at all worthwhile.

	The set is pretty nice though. Once you are level 55 - 60 it gives you the choice to sometimes have a higher AC kit for whatever at a time when you'd be over 200 wis anyway. The bp is especially nice, really being an improvement over verm bp and 40 ac and you have a chance to actually get it so

	its a fantastic item anyway. I guess the barb form would only be useful for the rare dark elf rogue around halas (or other races I guess) to have higher faction than the indiff they would have via sneaking when selling, might help with kosness too.

	This ring sits nicely on my Monk :) But it's great for anyone, casters would probably prefer the Reapers Ring from Aary though, since Reapers has Mana and HP's. my opinion, This goes to Melee(Warriors/Monks/Rogues) Rest can have the Reapers Ring which has better stats for casters.
