Actually, this is a pretty decent quest for the newbie Vah Shir Shamen. The knapsack is not the only reward. You also receive an upgrade to your newbie cloak and a decent shield, all of which is attainable at around level 3 or 4.

Dont be fooled by the ratio statement on this site, it does not reflect the true potential of the weapons when used in the primary hand. Once you factor in the level based damage bonus for primary hand, you will find that the Lammy outdamages this in the primary hand from about level 40 onwards.

I use this weapon on my rogue mainhand with RB offhand. It does about the same dmg for BSing as ragebringer but more dps in the mainhand overall. Its 14 22 now btw.

You may do more damage, but you won't build anywhere close to the aggro you'll get with a lammy. If you want aggro, main hand has to be the lowest delay you can find, and 9/19 is the best most people can get. Few are lucky enough to find a 10/18 they can afford or kill for, and even fewer a sword |

HEY! What about clerics and druids? they sometimes just jump right in at the end of a fight for some fun! i've played my cleric to 25, and while i admit clerics shouldn't go main melee, they could use it too, especially since when they drop a GHeal or CHeal the mob gets pi$$ed big time. |
