In theory, it means it can be equipped, but it's not advised to do so...

Nice Lil item, I remember trading a blue diamond for a Box of Nil Space a while back. This is definitely one I'ma go after next. I may be a Shaman, but hell. More room and weight allowance is always good. And I have to agree on the price, the main reason I never went and just filled up on Tink bags |

Shamans can use an Axe from the NFP Bards guild. Merchant in the back that sells the packs has em. And yes, Shaman can equip and fight with them, no skill in 1hs. And skill never goes up. |

Since I found it with my monk, I was unable to equip it, however, the icon graphic looks like a whip, so I imagine that the playing graphic would be similar.

This little item can replace my springwood club any day...Yes I lose 5str but as a Cleric the extra mana and hp is well worth the loss..The +5 to evoke is very nice also :o) well good hunting and safe journey to all.. |

Turned 4 vampyre ashes to Pelan in Dawnshroud, he gives you a combine short sword. This is a horribly easy quest to do. I tried selling one of these packs for a couple hours. No one on 7th hammer would offer more than 800pp for it. If you can get 3k+ for it, more power to ya :) |

Considering the bonus's on this (not shabby for a crafted item), I'm sure it is quite difficult to make (probably on the lvl with velious tailored items). Thus commanding a fairly high price. |

On 12/18/2001, I tried the standard combine for sharpening a rusty weapon, rusty weapon + sharpening stone in forge, and received a Does Not Combine message. If it can be sharpened/tarnished, the recipe is still unknown or broken. My guess is that it can't be sharpened/tarnished, though. |
