51 dly sucks, but with shishar +haste gear I hit at a reasonable rate. Best hit so far around 240.

You have a great point. However, FS plate wasn't really put in because there was a lack of good armor. It was put in to allow smiths to advance their skills.

Not too sure what mobs on Luclin are doppelgangers, but in West Karana as part of the bard epic, there is a mob called "Maligars Doppleganger"

Ornate Combine dagger dropped off named female bandit (forget her name, think her last name is Slither) in the paludal caves. It's a rare drop as I'd killed her several times with nothing dropping. She spawns just outside the camp with Yelloweyes, close to Shadowhaven.
