This is an absolutely killer item ... almost too good if its not more difficult to obtain than what it appears to be. Any other FT item that i can think of is either a result of a quest involving a ton of time and/or very tough fights ... or drops off boss mobs in the planes, sleepers, etc ...

You'll forgive some of us if we're unphased by comment 'Druids are just screwed in Luclin' due to their lack of porting skills. While Tawnos is right that 5% x 0 = 0, no multiplication is involved here. It's my guess that any class who can wear these automatically gets a blocking percentage of 5%.

If I remember correctly, which I am pretty sure I do, a kater is a punching dagger, so I think it should be piercing. I can understand why its hand to hand (besides the obvious of it being monk/beastlord only), but I think piercing would be a more suitable skill. But thats just me, so, whatever... |

with all the INT/WIS items comming out, and the bump up of the 200 mana cap, casters are gonna have a huge amount of mana to regen....Then this little item with decent AC, killer resist adds, and that little ole effect (not to mention some bonus hp and mana)!! Wow.....just plain Wow!

Yes, it does say +5%. However, the question remains, 5% of what? To figure a percentage, you invariably use multiplication, and if your skill is zero, the percentage will do nothing to increase it. |

I'm not saying that you wouldn't want to use the item. Merely that there are tradeoffs. For starters, two mana per tick is equivalent to Breeze, not clarity, and the effect of Breeze is fairly subtle (to say the least) at the level you could obtain this item.

the bonus is base on class & dmg / dly. there are lost of 1h weapons with dmg bonus. check out Greenmist sword t is 1hs 18/22 dmg bonus 9. i have seen some 1h with 11 dmg bonus as well.
