Please Help Those in Need

I want to take a moment to send our condolences to everyone who has been affected by this enormous disaster in Southeast Asia. If you can, please consider making a donation to one of the many relief organizations responding to this tragedy. Here is a link to a page with many donation links as recommended by yahoo.

this is such a good cause to donate for. At my highschool, we have a fundraiser also, sofar i belive that we are doing good, all i know though is that in my Freshmin class we have raised over $80 and it will go up $100 more tommorow because my parents said that they will give equal to what i give (i am donating $50). i hope people realize that they need this money more than we do and we should do everything we can do as a comunity to help. So those who can find it in them, please help the people there in Asia, every peny counts and with your help we will be able to help them so so much. so please, i don't know what the words of a 14 year-old will do for this, but please find it in yourself to help them. and if you already did, thank you so much for helping them, God bless you. :)

For those people that might be worried about giving to a charity, you can also send money to the embassies in your country and mark the letter as a donation. I've sent my donation to the Malaysian Embassy, here in DC. I've got a friend in Malaysia and I want my money to go where I want it, rather than to a general fund. There are millions that need help, but I know the help is going to go where it is needed most from these organizations. My family was affected by Hurricane Ivan, and the 'relief' is still working in FL where 3 previous hurricanes hit. My sympathies are with everyone affected.

It makes me think what will happen next. I've been watching the quake reports on www.drudgereport.com the one quake before that was near Antarctica that was 8.2 on the scale. Then that happened. I only hope that the people there will be able to recover from the huge losses that they have suffered.

I was watching images on the news a day or two ago. I couldn't help shed a tear for what has happened.

Keep the dead in your memories and the lost in your prayers.
Thank You
