A Boatload of Changes

Here is the new patch info: EverQuest Online Adventures Game Update for Wednesday, December 17th, 2003 Client Update: Camera Rumble Toggle: You can now toggle the game's camera rumble effect from Options > Interface. Optimizations: We have made some game optimizations to address previous issues of lock ups when loading new areas and some framerate degradation when displaying areas with environmental effects (fog, etc.) Item Delete and Sell Confirmation: In order to avoid accidentally destroying or selling important items, a confirmation box will now pop up when attempting to do so. Please be careful when selling or destroying items. We understand that accidents do happen, but with this additional safeguard the Customer Service Team will generally not replace items lost through deletion or selling. Abilities: Changed the Lvl 46 Druid spell Stem of Thorns spell to now be Group Wolf Form Changed the pwr cost and casting time on the Lvl 57 Mage spell Blizzard The lvl 46 alchemist scroll wasn't giving the player the proper spell. It was giving a copy of the level 37 quest spell, Frosty mixture. The Frosty mixture copy was changed into the correct spell. Players who have already scribed this scroll should now have the correct spell. The lvl 57 wizard drop spell, Odus Portal, now drops off creatures of the appropriate level The lvl 54 wizard drop spell, Arcane Grounding, now drops off creatures of the appropriate level Tradeskills: Slightly tuned the overall drop rate of tradeskill gem components upward All leather tailoring armor can now be equipped by monks Items: Insectan crown is now wearable by all races A number of items were previously flagged as worthless to sell to a vendor and did not have an appropriate repair value. These have been corrected. Worldbreaker boots are now useable by SKs The Poison tipped scimitar, short sword and spear now properly poison opponents Bracers of timber now have proper AC Terra Cloth Boots PR has been adjusted to be level appropriate NPCs: Cash items dropping in Stone of Morthalis have had their stack limit increased from 50 to 99 Magnar the Skald now drops his quest item all of the time Wandering mobs in the Hunt now drop loot at a slightly higher frequency Reduced the value of non-stackable weapon drops in the Pirate Cove dungeon of Cape Dreg and added large sum tunar drops on those npcs in lieu of stackable cash loot Oakbrow no longer has any AOE abilities with which to destroy innocent bystanders when angry at evil aligned players Class Mastery: Remove Illusion now available for all players at a cost of 0 mastery points Death Knight's Undead Servant buff, Vampiric Bond, now has the correct duration Blight of Bertoxxulous damage has been upped to fit into the progression of these abilities Quests: Alchemist will now properly receive a reward for the lvl 47 side quests To reduce player contention, the obsidian gargoyle statue now has a chance to drop off of any gargoyle soldier or watcher in the area rather than from a rare named spawn The lvl 57 Odus Side Quest now allows the players to reillusion as a kerran if they die after the initial illusion is granted

i finally got frontirs and visited odus with a group. we were fighting merkan villagers when a ring dropped. it was a lvl 76 Spellbreaker Ring. SK Pally only with 10 str 12 sta 22 ar. wonder why a lvl 76 rare is dropping?

if anyone ever needs a dd, ench, cl, or tank look me up. 20 ench, 34 cl, 31 war, 27 rge, 18 sha on PPO

This comment is about the PvP server. It's a very good idead to have PvP but not a server, have it like the pc eq where u can just challenge someone to a duel so u dont have to go to another server....That'd kickazz

ok, then ihave another question, do wizzys get ne evacs 2 places where u must have frontiers 2 go? if they do and they use n u stay in same spot n die,...thatd b funny....but id complain my *** off to the gms (:

wizzys do get gates to frontiers only places but they are all over level fifty

Even if somone used Odus portal on you. the server would not take you there. You need frontiers to go to Odus whether by Dockmaster or Wiz portal.

This is true. 1 of 2 things will most likely happen...

1) You'll be returned to your bound point

or

2) You'll stay in the exact same place when the spell was cast on you.

What happens is the wizard gets a notice that he/she must cast on a frontiers member
