In their latest press release, Piranha Games has announced that a new company, Infinite Game Publishing, will be publishing MechWarrior Online. Speculation and internet sleuthing is guessing that MWO will be released around Summer 2012, but it's an industry standard that things never turn out how you want them.

The press release does give some new information on the game, including the fact that players will be able to play in head-to-head online matches, as well as bigger Conquest and Versus modes. Piranha is also being rather ambitious in saying that "daily story updates and frequent content additions create epic changes to the Inner Sphere universe." although what sort of daily impact you can make remains to be seen. Also, there will be an all-new leveling system.
