Patch Details for Friday Nov. 21st
We had a follow-up update from Frontiers launch, addressing a few small issues that had cropped up since the release. These changes will go in effect at apx 4 AM Pacific time on Friday, November 21st, 2003. Below are the details:
11/21/03
A few post-Frontiers items to report:
NPCs:
Added a Spiritmaster to Stone of Morthalis, Spiritmaster Ezarah.
Added Tailoring merchants to Arcadin. Their vacation to the balmy Kerra Isle is over and they are now back at work.
Evil classes are now only able to take the boat from Freeport to Stone of Morthalis, instead of sneaking into Arcadin and ending up slain by an overzealous guard.
Adjusted monster spawn times in West Plateau to better match their level.
The Elf Paladin guildmaster in Fayspire is no longer attackable.
Minotaurs in Tunaria should no longer drop the fabled, but quite useless, Atlas of Qeynos.
Positive faction can now be gained with the Village of Kerplunk by fighting nearby lizardmen and aviaks.
Positive faction can now be gained with Dark Solace by fighting nearby aviaks.
Positive faction with Honjour Village can be gained by fighting Frogloks and the Protectors of the Pine.
The Guk Froglok King should now spawn less predictably, although its average spawn time has not changed.
The mighty water rat in the Hodstock area should now have a more appropriate ability list.
Corrected an inconsistent naming convention of monsters in Sylhilthis' Dwell.
Items:
Added bandages to all food merchant lists for the First Aid Class Mastery ability.
Tidian robe was improperly flagged for all classes to wear. It has been changed to caster only.
The Monk weapon, force of mind, has had its proc corrected. It should now have a chance to proc for 150 damage. Ouch!
