Faction Change Goes LiveSep 2nd, 2009 at 4:54 PM by Fewyn

According to the official Warcraft twitter account and a post on the forums Faction Change has gone live. Seems it costs $30 and allows you to switch factions to an appropriate race that has the same class available. You can find the original tweet here or the post here.

Although I'm not sure I'd actually spend the money to do this, it definitely has an appeal. As someone who plays both sides of 2 different servers, I often wish I had done my characters a bit differently. Of course, the purists are crying in outrage over this . . . but they cry in outrage over anything new.

Yes it is live. A few guildies have swapped some characters between our horde and alliance guild. Its nice. Encouraging people to play on our more dormant horde guild now that they can send a boat load of BoA and money over.
