You all may know that we here at ZAM are pretty big fans of League of Legends, and Riot Games has gone one step further in announcing that Beta Testers will be receiving a free in-game reward for players who participate and provide feedback in the closed beta. The team has also expressed interest in increasing its userbase in the closed beta, so we can probably expect to see more Beta Key giveaways in the near future.

Furthermore, in anticipation of its release date nearing, Riot Games has also released the first of its walkthrough trailers, hosted by Lead Creative Designer Shawn Carnes and Director of Systems Design Tom Cadwell. In the trailer, they "give gamers an overview of League of Legends and the innovative gameplay elements sure to make it a hit." Both of them came from Blizzard Entertainment, with Sean Carnes being Blizzard's former Lead Developer of Licensed Products, as well as being a game designer for World of Warcraft. Tom Cadwell formerly managed play balance for Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, and was a key designer on a number of game systems and zone and dungeon polish for WoW.
