First of Blizzard's "Class Q&A Series" Released

You might remember a couple weeks back when Blizzard announced it would be starting an ongoing, community feedback series called "Class Q&A," in which the developers would field questions from fans submitted via the official forums. The first of the series has just been released, featuring "Shaman Q&A with Ghostcrawler and the World of Warcraft Development Team."

The new Q&A series follows the wake of increasingly voiced concerns from fans regarding whether or not Blizzard has been keeping in touch with its community as well as it could—or should—be. In what can be interpreted as an answer to that call, Blizzard offers the first of the ongoing Q&A series, highlighting the Shaman class.

The first Q&A feature ended up being a pretty hefty post; around three full pages worth of info. The questions that Blizzard chose to answer span a variety of topics, from the role of the Shaman in Wrath-era WoW, gear itemization, class expectations, totems and more.

There's far too much info to summarize here; to that end, just check out the full post on the forums. In retrospect, it seems as if Blizzard truly is following through in its claim to address player concerns and questions with a more hands-on approach. The sheer amount of info provided in this Q&A is usually considered a "goldmine" for any class. Considering that we'll be receiving at least one more of these for every class in WoW, it signifies a real step in the right direction on Blizzard's part.

The blue text speaks sense but I still wouldn't be surprised if none of the good ideas ever get translated correctly into reality.

I'm really looking forward to them speaking about paladin though to see what they say about the shoddy itemization of ulduar gear for holy and the lacklustre T8 set bonuses.

Same here, can't wait for the Warlock Q&A. Now that I think of it, I should track down the official link to submit your class questions (if it's a static forum thread) and include it with this news post.
