Final Fantasy XI Update

From PlayOnline.com:

- An issue has been resolved where sometimes the Fortifications in Campaign would not be displayed correctly.

- An issue has been resolved where Campaign Guest "Kilhwch" would repeat the same phrase over and over during the Campaign Battle.

- An issue has been resolved where casting the black magic "Retrace" on another PC would not have any effect if one did not have the expansion "Wings of the Goddess" installed.

- The effects of the samurai job ability "Sekkanoki" when used in Conflict (PvP) have been adjusted.

- The damage dealt by the automaton weapon skill "Magic Mortar" has been adjusted.

- An issue has been resolved with the monsters "Shatterskull Mippdapp," "Ashmaker Gotblut," and "Hawkeyed Dnatbat," which appear in La Vaule, would not move when not engaged in battle.

- An issue has been resolved where one would no longer be able to advance in the quest "Better Part of Valor" under a certain set of conditions.

* In our update news, a notice of the weapon skill "Sekkanoki" was included, but this is rather a job ability. This has been corrected. We regret this error and thank you for your understanding.

If you note - they said an adjustment to magic mortar - not bone crusher or armor peicer.
And as far as i know - armor peicer is the strongest WS - bone crusher is not much better
than cannibal blade - an magic mortar is just nice to Light SC off of. For mortar magic to do
dmg - automation HP must low (convert attachment). If automation HP@100% WS=0 dmg lol
But you should not count on mage frame DD'in - just keepin ya alive. But mostly for parties
ranger frame is best.

I have to say my PUP is only 10, and i feel your pain ;______; giving a melee job a C+ best for their own combat is such a load of crap. I honestly thought they'd keep MM the way it was
Sigh.

I thought Magic Mortar was almost right for it's damage. I mean come on you really need to give the Automatons something that makes them useful in a party and if it can do good damage maybe the pup job will see a little more use in the game

why.. this is so f'd up.. i mean realy come on... why does SE have it out for us.. they cant even justify it by sayin its over powered... look at some of our options.. compaired to other DD's of game.. if we were drk or sam or w/e they would not mess with us this bad.. who really cares if valoquin does nice dmg for a change.. would bring us into a really good situation with pt's and meripo and endgame activities.. but now.. SE has really taken away someting that was awesome
