Pebbles are the only ranged item that every job can use...so it is great if someone like me (a monk) for some strange reason has to end up pulling. It is more practical for hate management to pull with a pebble, than provoke, and safe than running up punching it twice then running away. Also the recharge for Chi Blast may not be reset, inwhich case...toss a pebble.

Sleep if based off enfeebling magic, it's also dark elementally, just like dia is light elementally buy still enfeebling.

btw, it's not just pebbles... and think they'll have a vendor start to sell them too? That'd be kinda neat.

yes, i agree with the words you said.

from the sept 14th ffxi update

The MP costs for the black magic spells Bio and Bio II have been reduced from 22 and 66 to 15 and 36, respectively. In addition, the amount of damage caused by the spells will now be affected by the caster’s dark magic skill. This adjustment also affects the damage caused by Bio III (used only by monsters).

and we have a E in dark, not a F.

and my point wasnt about elelmental type,
it was that rdm's CANT TRHOW A ROCK.

sorry, it's just a pet peeve

Dont jack the asking price up like some retards do and it wont cost as much to sell items.

all these prices are based on 2% rule for single items. formula is asking price * 0.02 = maintenance fee
3,000,000 = 60,000 gil
300,000 = 6,000 gil
30,000 = 600 gil
3,000 = 30 gil
300 = 3 gil
RE: Auction House
# Dec 08 2004 at 1:48 PM Rating: Decent
I think this is a way to fight the current inflation on auction prices especially for items like the emp. hairpin or the kotes. This way, people will think twice before trying to raise the price of such items, as it will cost them a lot of money to put them on auction in the first palce, and it would be a major loss if the item was not sold after 3 days.
Can someone please describe each class?

Either that, or the +MP heal effect of the food is going to be massively nerfed.

Even better than stacking pebbles to 99...make the boomerang available for more jobs..
RE: pebbles
# Dec 07 2004 at 5:41 PM Rating: Decent
Now I may be wrong about this, but I noticed an item recently on the AH that's a pebble sack (not the actual name, I can't remember it right now) that's waist worn. I imagine this will work much like potion dispensers, allowing you to fill it and carry more than the standard amount. One reason SE might have gone this way is because pebbles are unwieldy and awkward, and don't generally get carried around with ease in the real world. 99 pebbles is a lot heavier that 99 arrows would be, and pebbles don't fit easily into a quiver. I don't agree with the choice to make this pebble sack a waist worn and not ammo slot, but that's just me.

I think you mean the pellet belt. And weight isn't an issue in FF XI... I can carry 55 coffers in my backpack...

The pellet belt is little more then a fun thing to have, unless pebbles stack to 99 in the future... and even then my RDM can't thorw them >_<
RE: pebbles
# Dec 08 2004 at 6:59 AM Rating: Default
that pebble sack your talking about is only a pebble despencer what it does is allow you a certain # of stacks of pebbles, which then need to be put in the ammo slot.

So you basically wear the belt for a certain time then you can dispence a stack of pebbles to use them as usual.
Lemme get this straight..

While this annoys the crap outta me, too (MNK).. I think I understand why.

Pebbles are MINED.. it would take a good long while to mine 99 pebbles .....

I could be wrong ... but are pebbles not also able to be stolen from worm type mosters... and I am pretty sure you can make them in BoneCrafting also... 1xshallshell + 1x wind crystal...

You may also obtain pebbles by digging with your Chocobo (or bizarre ostrich/chicken hybrid thing...whatever floats your boat.)

I would know first hand that Chocobos can dig up pebbles.
