• Session for our games will be affected from 2:00 AM on April 11, 2012 to approximately 2:30 AM Pacific* (this means you may have issues zoning during the maintenance)

SOE is having a "Spring Fever" weekend, which features Double Station Cash across all applicable titles! Get Double Station Cash from now through 11:59pm PDT on Sunday, April 8, 2012. The amount doubled applies to all purchase methods excluding SMS (text messaging).

In spirit of the Spring Fever weekend, EverQuest II has announced limited edition Surprise Beast'r Baskets! The baskets can be purchased for 350 Station Cash each on the Marketplace. Open your basket to receive one of six random colors of a dragon house pet, a spring cloak and a bunny hat. These baskets will be in the Marketplace until April 15, 2012!

The anticipated announcement of SOE's Fan Faire dates have finally arrived, along with a surprising name change: Fan Faire is now renamed to SOE Live. In Linda "Brasse" Carlson's blog post today, she stated that they wanted a new name to "reflect the bigger picture, to make it inclusive of the many worlds SOE offers."

SOE Live 2012 will be held from October 18 - 21 at Bally's Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rooms can already be booked at Bally's now for $80 per night on the 17th and 18th and $130 per night on the 19th and 20th. Registration for the event has not opened yet.

In celebration of EverQuest's 13th anniversary SOE kicked off a 24-hour Double Station Cash promotion yesterday afternoon. Until 12pm PDT today, March 17, 2012, get twice the amount of Station Cash! Offer excludes SMS (text messaging) purchases.

Once the login maintenance is complete, Antonius Bayle and Povar will be open for play. Players that log into the Test server before the maintenance starts should not be impacted.
• All of the other EverQuest servers will be taken offline at 12:00 AM Pacific on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. The estimated downtime for this maintenance is 12:00 AM to approximately 04:00 PM Pacific on March 6, 2012. If the maintenance is completed early the servers may be opened up before the estimated time.

Sony Online Entertainment announced today on the EverQuest Online Adventures website that it is closing four of its game services:  EQOA, Cosmic Rift, Infantry, and Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga.  These games will close for good on March 29, 2012.

EQOA players will be granted 3 months of Gold Membership in both EverQuest and EverQuest II. These gold memberships will be available starting on Friday, March 16, 2012. You can find out more about the end of EQOA in the official EQOA Closure FAQ.
