Infinite Crisis Reveals Star Sapphire

Champion of love, Star Sapphire is a force to be revered.

Carol Ferris hired Hal Jordan to be a test pilot at Ferris Aircraft and the two stumbled into romance. It grew more complicated when an alien tribe called Zamarons granted Carol the Star Sapphire ring, able to channel the profound power of love. At first, this power distorted Carol's feelings into hatefulness and the two fought often. In due time she was able to master the ring, even acting as keeper for the Predator entity, love’s sentient manifestation.

This hero’s blast range and damage keep her opponents dancing at a distance.

Infinite Crisis New Champion: Superman

Infinite Crisis has a new contender in its ranks: the one and only "Man of Steel", also known as Superman, enters the fray. This melee bruiser has high sustain and several abilities that allow him to close the gap and get up close and personal with his enemies. And if you thought frost breath and eye beams weren't scary enough--wait until you see him chase you down faster than a speeding bullet.

Infinite Crisis Reveals Atomic Poison Ivy

Reborn in oak and thorn, Atomic Poison Ivy, fights for an Earth wreathed in toxic forest as the newest Champion available in Infinite Crisis, the upcoming free-to-play MOBA from Turbine based in the DC Universe.

As nuclear fallout withered the old world’s flora, a psychic scream plunged Pamela Isley into darkness. She awoke in a mutated forest, shocked to discover her own transformation. The forest mind spoke to hers, calling itself the Green. Their strong telepathic link, forged in nuclear fire, gave Ivy renewed purpose. She would use her new from to protect and the Green and strike fear into a weakened humanity's heart.

Using exotic powers to protect and entrap, few enemies escape this villain's grasp.

Infinite Crisis: Coast City Preview

In the DC Universe—pre-New 52 that is—Coast City was home to one of the most horrific outrages in Earth’s history. The entire city was destroyed, leading to the eventual corruption of virtuous Hal Jordan, causing him to become the monster Parallax—well, it turns out he was actually infected by…oh never mind.

Whatever the historic significance of Coast City in DC comics, the place has special significance in Infinite Crisis as it is the second map to be added to the game. I took part in a dev playthrough of the map with Cardell Kerr, Turbine’s creative director of the MOBA-in-tights.

For a quick overview of what to expect, watch the video below. It’s OK, I’ll wait.

Infinite Crisis: Atomic Wonder Woman

The multiverse in DC Comics allows fans to get a peak at their favorite heroes moulded by different circumstances. In Infinite Crisis, the champions you play are inspired by the joys of multi-dimensional theory and the latest hero epitomizes just how different things can get.

Atomic Wonder Woman was born in a world much like ours, where the planet stood on the brink of nuclear armageddon through the dark times of the Cold War. The difference being in her world, a certain object in space that exploded above a small town in Kansas triggered World War III.
