God. @#%^ing. Dammit.
Idiot coworker decided to try updating Firefox. Ignored the prompt that Firefox Installer would not be able to make a complete installation without admin privileges and told it to install anyway. Now FF is broken, I don't have the admin privileges to fix it(I'm confident that I could bypass the proxy if I could get it working again) and I'm stuck back behind the proxy.
Tried editing the registry to remove the proxy script for IE/Chrome and I apparently can't save anything to the registry. Not surprised, but it was worth a shot.
Now I have to remote in to another computer and connect to the internet through it to bypass the proxy. Thankfully, it's a powerful machine. I mean, it's got the latest in Windows XP technology and something like a gig of RAM.
