I've managed to catch a relatively powerful strain of the common cold. I took some Zutripro(I've been prescribed it before, but this wasn't exactly from my prescription).

The page I linked, under "Side Effects", has this section.
Quote:
Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:
...
confusion, hallucinations, unusual thoughts or behavior;
I've been taking it once a day before bed since I don't want to risk driving to work. For work, I've mostly been relying on cough drops. Anyway, I wake up multiple times a day, confused and often thinking of MLP: FIM. At one point, I felt the need to strip my pillow of its pillowcase while talking to someone. In my mind, it was Pinkie Pie. Would that fit under that description, or would that more likely be a normal side effect of slight insomnia caused by having to wake up every twenty minutes because my nose is still clogged and running? Also possibly relevant: I've been known to hold conversations with people without waking up.

Also, when a drug is prescribed for the flu, how do you know if
Quote:
easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness, fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms;
is caused by the drug or the illness. Not relevent to my situation, just curious.

1. Who the hell came up with the idea to combine two antihistamines with a narcotic? Seems like major overkill to me. But whatever.

2. Are you having dreams about MLP or is this only when you're awake? Because some drugs can cause you to have some crazy dreams, which you may be acting upon before you're really awake. I can't exactly give you medical advice over the internet, but if you're worried about it, it won't hurt to call your clinic and ask them. They may be able to help you without you having to go see them.

3. There are drugs with that side effect profile that aren't used for the flu, so in those cases it's a little easier. (We don't usually prescribe much for the flu anyway.) In this case, though, I'd guess that if your symptoms improve then get worse, or get significantly worse after starting the drug, that's a clue.

If I were really worried about it, I would have called them in lieu of posting this. Like I said, mostly just relating a story I thought was kinda funny. Also, I have dreams about anime and cartoons all the time, so I wouldn't be surprised if I had an MLP dream. I tend to be really out of it first thing when I wake up if it's before 3-4 hours of sleep have passed, as well.
