Apparently into a vat containing distilled "taste."

It's not that I particularly care for the prequels, but it's become a popular joke to put them down in comparison to the originals when the truth is that the originals are bad. So bad. People seem to like to ignore that. There is a huge amount wrong with the prequels and several times more so with the originals.

So that why I like to flip the common assumption whenever I see anyone pretend that Luke Skylwalker is not the most beta-assed mary sue who ever cried himself to victory.

I agree with the critics who say that the prequels should have focused on Palpatine, as he actually had character progression.

I prefer the original trilogy, because Luke was only angsty for 1 episode, Anakin was angsty for 2.
