I've been taking ~1hr walks every night, with my mp3 player, just walking around in random directions.

It's neat seeing other neighborhoods, and little shops I'd probably never find otherwise.
Oh, and I'm trying valiantly not to drink anymore alcohol. Aiming to get below 200lbs before mid-February.

Also, I'm disappoint at my post rate.

I tried that once, the whole "walk in a random direction to see something you've never seen before" thing. It was just the other day, and I found this really sweet Italian hole-in-the-wall restaurant I'd never even heard of before. I gave it a shot, and the food was good, but it really made me have to use the bathroom, but when I flushed the toilet, I activated a secret trapdoor, and fell into a net. Anyway, I guess the point I'm getting at here is that I'm currently in chains on a barge in the Pacific, and I'm suspicious at the "Tuna" canning machine they just brought out, because there are no fish on board. Help!

Some of the places I've been are pretty shady, especially at 1am.

I liked my one room mates idea: Standing around pretending I'm doing nothing whenever I see a cop car.
Wearing all black like I usually do.

That sounds like fun. Back in High School, my friend and I dressed in all black and pretended we were trying to break into my other friend's house, figuring she would catch us and throw a fit (her fits were hilarious to watch). Instead, about 5 minutes in we were confronted by her mom wearing a bath towel and holding a dripping wet cat, who came out to tell us she'd called the police before she had recognized us, and that we'd better get out of there.

I used to do that when I lived at Res and I got bored, I found lots of cool stuff around the city center area. I am still disappoint that after all the exploring I did I never did find a DQ closer than the one in Kingsway. I had hoped to find one somewhere, despite google maps disagreeing with me.

Strike a pose trying to match a random background object like a cartoon burglar.

I love just walking around and exploring new stuff. Even if it's just a new block or a slightly different path in the woods.

good luck on the weight loss/no alcohol thing. I'd like to significantly scale down my alcohol consumption and wouldn't mind trimming my waist line as well. Once I'm all moved in, the plan is to get a gym membership and to try valiantly to go at least once a week.

I find I drink less when my gf is around - so living in the same house should help me cut down by a lot.

Well my brother left his $600 bicycle at home. The day he bought the bike, he ended up popping the tire, and bought the wrong size replacement tube. It hasn't been used since, and that was over a year ago. I think I'm going to replace the inner tube and claim the bike for myself.

I wear reflective **** when I go out walking/biking at night, if I'm sticking to neighborhoods. In the city, it's bright enough to not matter.
