Ok, I admit it. I'm a **** for Zelda.

I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY MANOSUKE

Edit: Also I like OoT 3DS, and I hope they make Majora's Mask for it too.

Days late reply, I liked OoT for 3ds, only the aiming pissed me off. The game was good but that aiming by looking around with no option or way to turn it off sort of ruined the only chance I really get to play, In moving vehicles. It is especially awesome that it also came with master quest.

wait wait wait..

I remember having that Aiming turned off in OoT 3D because I played in a chair that I could not move around in...

yea.
You hit Start to save the game, but go down to options and you can turn off the Motion Control for aiming.

I've gotten ticked off by OOT Zelda, mostly because I accidentally turned the power off and hadn't saved...

but I got a blister on my thumb from playing mario kart this weekend. Love it.

The motion controls actually weren't a problem for me 95% of the time, but I absolutely could not seem to get it to thrust properly when I wanted (haha). It plagued me all throughout the game, even on the last boss.

Baby, I can show you things you've only dreamed of. I can take you anywhere you desire. From quiet, magical forests, to raging volcanoes. From peaceful lakes to scorching deserts. I can make the sun shine and the rain fall. I can take your breath away and make it seem like time itself has slowed down.

All you have to do is blow me.

It's not that Nintendo sucks (I got way much more money's worth out of my DS than my PSP, and I expect the same from the 3DS.... then again I have 0 reason to purchase a Vita in the short term)... it's just that they suck at on-line :p

eh, I used my PSP way more than my DS... so we are opposite there - and the thing about nintendo "sucking less" was aimed at them sucking at online stuff. I mean really, its 2012, what the hell is the point of putting in a friends list that we can't do anything with? I mean really? Why do we need secret codes to do almost everything?

It's silly and pointless. If parents are worried about their kids - nintendo should just have a setting (like they do with 3d) where parents can disable it (and put it under password protection) - meanwhile if adults like me want to join random pokemon battles with strangers - or chat with people online using my hardware, please let me. I'm almost 30. I can make these decisions myself nintendo.

I guess I appreciate the fact that Sony seems to realize that a lot of people that play videogames are over the age of 12. Nintendo, not so much.

Now, that said, other than the lack of anything resembling battery life - I really like my 3ds. (but man, what the hell is with the battery life?)

I've used it more to watch netflix than to play videogames, however. What I want to know, is WHY THE F*CK IS THERE ALMOST NOTHING (BUT UTTER CRAP) ON THE 3DS STORE? I mean really, is it that hard to toss some game boy advance titles up? I don't want some "pizza ninja" sh*t, give me some classic games. Let me download legend of zelda, oracle of ages - and oracle of seasons. Gimme some game boy colour games plz.

I mean what really irks me is the free games they gave to ambassadors AREN'T FOR SALE. I mean WTF. I'm not asking for them for free - but why the hell can't I buy games that are clearly AVAILABLE and DOWNLOADABLE and WORKING ON THE SYSTEM? WHY?

See I really enjoyed the plethora of DS RPGs and Strategy titles... PSP, not so much... I don't need load times on my 10 year old re-released RPG. Plus the price of games (and worse, UMD movies) on the PSP WAS a turn off. I'm so happy that SE games are hitting the PSP for under 30 bucks. I picked up the fighting game a few weeks back for 19 dollars! (But I still haven't played it). My most favorite game for the PSP? Half Minute Hero, and it would have been an amazing success on the DS, absolutely nothing has shown me why I needed to graphical power of the PSP over the DS.

I think this generation will be different with enough time. I enjoyed watching movies during flights on the PSP because it did have an amazing screen, I just don't have the patience for multiple lengthy load screens on shorter trips. I never played my PSP while at home because I could get a similar experience on my consoles or PC without load times. I found myself playing my DS (during certain game releases) at home in lieu of my plugged in big screen options with AAA titles on the shelf unopened.

With the Vita out the gate focused on minimal to no load times, all I need is a small handfull of titles I want and I'll pull the trigger. Well, maybe not... I'm not too keen on the subscription for the 3G or whatever option, but I wouldn't buy the dumbed down version that's missing physical parts >.>

As to the 3DS and embassador titles, I think they go on sale in a few weeks? Not positive. Though I'm hoping the physical lineup gets it's schedule bumped a month or two, lots of games on the 3DS horizon I'm looking forward to!

Since today is Protest SOPA/PIPA day, clearly you should haxor your PSP to play GBA/GB/SNES/NES/Genesis games on it, and then buy the games from the Nintendo Store when they release them to the unwashed masses. I did (hack my PSP, that is), and I'm gonna soapbox for a second on the topic, given what day it is (or should it be SOPAbox? /shotforlamepun).

I'm not for copyright infringement if you can get a legit copy, but in the case of games you can't buy from the manufacturer/publisher/developer and can't find used/are region-locked against you, I'm all for it. Also, if you already own the game on one platform and want to emulate it (e.g. I have Chrono Trigger for SNES, but my SNES is long dead and I want to play it on PSP so I DLed a ROM because ***** buying the gear necessary to rip my own ROMs when I can just download them), I'm for that too.

I prefer owning a physical copy of media I like (if just to display them on my shelf), so even if I've downloaded a game/movie/TV show I don't own, if I intend to keep it beyond a playtest period, I will try to get legit copy of it--and new rather than used, but I'll take used if I have to--to support its creators. Funimation wouldn't have gotten ($20/disc x 13 discs) $260 out of me from Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs if I hadn't seen it for free first, and once I can find a boxed set for FMA: Brotherhood, I'll buy that too, even though I've already watched the whole thing in Japanese.
