...but merging the OOT and Asylum makes sense at this point. They're both so slow, and nobody cares in the Asylum when I post mostly OOT-level posts.
Heck, you could just make =28 redirect to =4 and probably nobody would really even notice.

We've been debating it back and forth. At the moment, both populations are growing somewhat, so we have decided to hold off on merging them at the moment. That could change.

I can't imagine merging the two to have a noticeable effect on the total rate of posts and userbase. I think the biggest hit to the OOT was the expansion of the book forum to include basically all media.

tl;dr - I'm lazy.
Though I would like it to remain the Asylum-style of forum where breaking the filter and such is allowed.
So maybe it would be impossible to merge them since they would feel obligated to provide a more moderated off-topic forum.

It'd only be a problem in that those threads probably see a lot more use and so it'd be very annoying to have to click on them to turn them not blue every time I visit the forum.
