I is finally watching it. Starting episode #4 now, so far I've rated it a 7/10.
The animation isn't the best, but I'm really liking the character progression.
Also, lol at the Opening:

Good anime, I wouldn't bother continuing after with the manga though. Watching the Engrish version?
Engrish? Does laughing at Ryusuke's Engrish count?
I thought it was alright, I think I gave it 7/10 on MYL. I didn't buy into its music snobbery at all though.
Edit: I'm also disappointed in OPs like Beck's because they seem fairly good, until you listen to the whole song. Beck, Last Exile, and Xam'd all just repeat a line over and over again waaay too times.

An "alright" would be a 5-6 in my book, but :P
And I guess I'll have to see about the "music snobbery", I'm almost done #8.
