I have no idea what to expect.
The only problem is I will want to play XI on the computer it is on... AND it looks horrible when I try to shrink the window to multitask. I wish I knew how to make windowed mode suck less. If I could do that I would play and watch it at the same time. If I could find my damn memory sticks I would transfer it to my laptop to watch... but meh. I will never find them.

There's a pretty straightforward GUI now.
Just point it to your pol directory, set your screen resolution, and you're set. The default version comes with the nice goodies, tpParty and such. I just don't talk about it in game.
edit: Or you could be like me, get a network HD, and utilize 3 monitors for your desktop setup. Only downside is my electrical bill and overheating this room.

Once you get it set up, I'll send you my init file that has all the keybindings, settings, and plugins I use. You'll have to see which plugins work best for you, but it would be a place to start at least. I use a pseudo-fullscreen mode, which sets it to your maximum resolution while still letting you alt-tab to different things. You can change the resolution if you don't want to use that though.
I would like to be able to play it either in fullscreen or in a smaller window (say for farming boring crap and watching teevee at the same time) - most of the time fullscreen - but yeah - be nice to be able to watch TV when I am doing something stupid like farming

Running single monitors is so 1990s.
I am too cheap to buy a second monitor and have no idea how to set them up... I mean for serious guys - I built my own computer for the first time... I need to rest before I can level up my computer skills further

huh. That almost seems like it could be a good deal. However - I am a loser without id and the post office sends big packages to the drug store and the ladies won't give me my stuff.
