I could certainly try, but I have a strict rate posts on content not poster policy lately, so you have to promise not to post anything that would be considered stupid. Stupid makes me hit the red arrow faster than trolling, flaming and capslock combined, although a lot of those things usually get combined with the stupid so hey.

I almost always follow the same policy, and if I ever post something stupid I deserve to get rated down. Hopefully that doesn't happen, because I go over all my posts before actually posting them to make sure they aren't retarded (though one or two might slip through occasionally). A lot of my posts I just delete without ever clicking the send button because I don't like them. (That's probably why my post count isn't any higher than it is.)

I have the same problem with the OOT.

Well, I did, before it slowed the **** down. Now I won't bother reading new threads most days.

Did I cover all the bases?

I almost ever rate down, it's just not in my nature, though I make an exception for Fynlar and Blowfin.

Quoted for truth, but seriously, Daim, you need more posts, so cut it out.

I know, I'm trying. I'm doing a lot better than I used to, I hate making posts with only a few words or ones that are really inane. But now I even split up what would normally be one post into two (at least in here).

What tends to happen for me is that I think about what I was going to say, and I usually determine that it's not going to create any new lines of conversation or provide a counterargument or really lend itself to a conversation in any meaningful way that someone else hasn't already done or it's such an obvious point that someone else will end up posting it anyhow.

I loathe posts in threads in the real forums where someone just quotes someone else to say "this". I usually rate them down, even if I agree with the quoted text. When my posts are just going to be reiterations of a previously-made point, I just refrain from posting them.
