Or you could just answer no when they ask if you are capable of being unbiased, or worse yet make sure they understand that you understand your job is to interpret and apply the law as it is written, they tend to not like that interpret part.

No, just tell them the job of a juror is to CONVICT (caps is important), and you're more than willing to do it! Because afterall, the police don't arrest innocent people.

I'm liking Usagi's idea the best so far. But anyways, my parents have gotten dismissed pretty much every time because of their family history so I'm hoping the same will happen to me.
