I don't usually care too much about athletes or w/e talking about God, but this really ticked me off. You guys probably don't watch or care about football but I had to vent this somewhere.

After his team won the BCS National Championship, Auburn head coach Gene Chizik had the audacity to say "God was with us" when talking about the victory in a post-game interview. Really? God was with you? You don't think that God was with any faithful Christians on Oregon? Of all teams for God to choose to "be with", assuming he cared about college football (lol), he would choose the team that violated NCAA rules by paying a quarterback ~$200k to come play for them?

Please, Gene Chizik. Shut the **** up before you talk next time.

Meh, everyone says stupid **** when the media crews are jamming cameras in everyone's faces on the field right after the game.

As for the God part, Alabama is in the ******* Bible Belt, what do you expect him to say?

Basically he's saying it was dumb luck, and based on skill, they should have lost.

He was just giving a shout out to God, and it was a dumb place to do it. God does not care about football. It bugged me when he said it too.

God needs to spend less time watching football, and more time preventing assassination attempts and what not.
