A week from Monday, I turn 26. That's closer to 30 than to 20, and I still haven't accomplished anything in my life.

I'd really like to finish my B.S. before I turn 30. There are still engineering jobs aplenty, and they pay well so I'm not really worried about missing out on the savings I could have accumulated by the time I graduate. I am just so sick of the way things are, and there doesn't really seem to be a better way out than finishing a degree I really have minimal interest in at this point. Of course, if I do finish it, I can just figure out some other **** after I get a good job, or maybe I'll actually like the work.

Bleh.

tl;dr: Olde old is going to be olde, but not as olde as Anna.

Yeah.

I somewhat envy you, even though you're going to a ****** technical institute. At least you have the chance to get **** done right the first time. I ****** so much **** up when I started college, and it's my biggest regret.

I will say this for technical institutes, though:

All the hands-on training you get is certainly nice for people who suck at classroom learning.

DeVry is a college in the same way that McDonalds hamburgers can be considered meat.

Something we can agree on.

They're greasy. They're horrible.

What most people would consider a good steak. I've never actually liked any steak i've had. There were some i didn't mind, but i never really liked any. The cheap **** mcdonald's uses is one of the few meats i like, other than chicken.
