How did they ruin Tsukiakari no Michishirube? And Higurashi?

Well, for Tsukiakari no Michishirube, the trance remix ruins the pacing of the original. Which was what, combined with the original vocals, made the song one of Stereopony's best.
You can't tell me that swapping out a rock band's bass line and drums makes a song any better.
Well, you can, but then I'll have to disown you.
As for Higurashi: The vocals and beat do not sync that well. Well, the vocals bug me too, but it's mostly the beat.
The original is pretty good at being kind of creepy, the remix is good at being bland.
Do you not feel like the soul has been ripped out of the original songs in these remixes?
