So i woke up 10 minutes ago, and come over to my computer. I notice my macro bar flashing in ffxi, so i turn around and pick up my controller. Nice, it's broken. I go upstairs and ask who was in my room today. My response was "no one". My mom asks why, i exlpain that someone borked my controller.

Apparently my dad thought it was ok to not only walk through my room without looking where he's going, step on my controller, break it, but also to blame me for it.

Well yeah, but controller is nice for running around, or if i'm doing other things, since i can keep using my controller while tabbed out of ffxi.

Well keyboard is slightly superior for ffxi. Controller is good enough though, and more comfortable, so i use both, depending on what i'm doing.

I like the controller for running around. I have one plugged in for just that. The only job I play from it is BLM sometimes, because spells take so long to cast anyway that it's no big deal. My other jobs have too many macro presses that I get frustrated with the controller.

Typical alla really, any thread with controller in it turns into kb vs controller debates.

Typical =10, you mean.

I highly doubt the WoW forums are having this discussion.

The moral of the story is to stop living with your parents.

That's too expensive. I'd rather just replace the $20 controller.

Not popular here but I am just glad to not be a BLM any more.

I haven't logged in for about a week. I still need to get PLD and BLM to 80 and finish my BRD merits.

Then maybe I'll take MNK BLU and WAR to cap because why not? lolAbyssea.

I loved being BLM (nuking things is so awesome). I just didn't have the time to keep up with the group. This was years ago.

BLM was meh for me.

I wanted to smack things upside the head if I was in the mood for DD'ing. Otherwise, support jobs ftw.

I like BLM for events, but solo leveling it got old after a while.

I don't mind EXPing on BRD DRK or WAR because you're constantly doing stuff. MNK is a bit meh to level, and BLU desn't get invites.

Now all I do is DPS. I main healed and tanked in all games because it was needed. The boys surpassed me and didn't need me because they had lives that were more flexible and I could transition to a role that better served my life (i.e. not playing for a few years). I still love to whack things up the side of the head and NEVER want to be a main healer EVER!!!!

This is why you are so stupid! If you didn't like BLM, then you weren't doing it right.

[Six or seven sentences on what I think you were doing wrong.]

[About 10 sentences on what I assumed you had for gear, and why that sucked (this will turn into a flame war between two random other people).]
