It gets a bit worse after L dies, but it's still great.

Also, just watched the first episode of a zombie anime series, High school of the Dead, packed with fan service.
It'll probably end up being crap, but I'll watch it anyway. (I rank it 5/10 so far).
At least the animation looks pretty good.
