Bass may not be as hard to play on a lot songs, but it's mostly about the sound for me.

And I've always liked playing the "supporting" roles in games and stuff.

Edit: Oh, and this is ******' GH and Rock Band we're talking about. Not a very good place to judge instruments.

Edit 2: I play Guitar and Bass an equal amount of time on RB.

Play Bass for every song you play one day.

Keeping rhythm is harder than most people think when you don't have on screen prompts.

It's easier when you are not playing anything complicated though. Like, playing one note repeatedly in rhythm is much, much easier than playing a complex guitar solo, in rhythm.

In case you forgot, every instrument needs to stay with the rhythm, not just bass.

Are you playing only metal/hard rock songs on bass?

Obvious example was obviously an example.

Obviously only certain metal songs just have bass play the same note repeatedly, but point is, bass is simpler to play.

Your mom is much simpler, too.

It's a long, long way for us to go,
But if we don't try we'll never know.
Stay optimistic, set our goals high,
There's nothing we can't do if we aim for the...

Sky is blue and all the leaves are green.
The air's as pure as a baked potato.
We think we know exactly what we mean,
When we say it's a shpadoinkle day.

When we say it's a shpadoinkle day!

But bad bass or percussion can throw everyone else off. Either way, I can't do it. I have the steady hands of Michael J. Fox. I'd probably fail at the kazoo.
