I pretty much played nothing but MGS4 yesterday and today, and managed to beat it on Solid Snake (Medium difficulty I think). I was really surprised by the depth and entertaining story Smiley: nod
I've only played MGS3, and I didn't pay much attention to the actual story, so some flashbacks had me feeling "left out" lol.

Now that I'm done that marathon.. I'm not sure what to do next :p

I don't own a PS3 (or an XBOX360 for that matter). I played the first MGS for PS1 again a couple weeks ago, though. I kind of want to break out the NES and dust off my Metal Gear cartridge. Or my shiny gold Zelda cartridge.

I had the gold N64 cartridge for Ocarina of Time, don't think I ever played the original zelda games for the NES though. I recently beat Link to the Past though, that was a good break from FFXI.
I downloaded the history of MGS for my PS3, it goes into detail explaining where each character came from and what they did. It's pretty cool, I'll have to look into it a bit more.

Oh, and I've been having FFXI withdrawals :D

I've been trying to level RNG on the Cerberus account, but there's like zero NA population. Then I LFP late-night (like now), and the only tank and healer LFP are "JP Only." For serious. You know, I've never seen "JP Only" even once on Asura. Ever. In the years since I started playing, I never got rejected when I try to build a party because I don't speak Japanese. This blows. I have good gear. I shoot things, and they die. Why do I have to be JP to do that? Smiley: mad Smiley: frown

On second thought, You'd hate Ramuh so much Smiley: laugh We have like, the biggest Japanese player population. It really pissed the English players off to look through the LFG list and see 80% of the players "JP Only" or "English, No thanks." during Japanese prime time**

It's not the JP population or the "JP only" that's really aggravating. It's the near complete lack of NA population. I did a "/sea all 60-70 inv" at various points throughout the day, and the list was literally never longer than five people (myself included). Leveling RNG in campaign battles just isn't cost effective, and neither is syncing down where I can't get skill ups (and then having to buy ammo to skill up with).

That sucks. My RNG is lvl 10, maybe I'll get that to 37 if/when I reactivate my account.
