Are the epic patterns coming primarily from the Jewel crafting vendor in Dalaran or are they drops? If they are from the vendor how much do they cost?

I counted 72 cuts, each costing 4 JC tokens each. Somehow I doubt
however that all will be available from this single source when
this patch goes live.
JC gems are +34 agility.

All cuts will be available eventually, I presume. Most already are.
Pure colour (red, blue, yellow) epic gems cost 20 Badges of Heroism, mixed colour (green, orange, purple) cost 10 Badges of Heroism. Or you can get any for 10'000 Honour.
They are also obtainable from transmutes and prospecting.
