Am I right in thinking that if I want to be a jewelcrafter I need to travel to Exodar? I rolled a toon which is currently level 5 in SW, but there doesn't appear to be a JC trainer. Pain in *** to travel all the way over there.

Yeah, sad to say theres only 2 (or i guess like 4 now that Northrend's out) JC trainers in the game. One in the Exodar, one in Shatt, and the ones in the starting areas of Northrend iirc.

Exodar it is then for a lowly level 5.

Surprised me too, I just switched to JC on my rogue and powerleveled to 430 in a few days, but with the love fool thing going on I couldn't just sit in exodar and hearth back and forth because I needed those damn candies! Inscription got trainers everywhere, why not JC's!

Thankfully, the new SW to Auberdine boat makes it a lot easier to get to the Exodar. No more having to run the gauntlet and wetlands to get there.

Gee Goggy, if you had done this a week or two ago you could have gone to moonglade and then to Exodar. I used the lunar festival event to visit the major cities on all my younger alts.

Try and stock up on the mats you need before going out there, it's well off the beaten track. Also, it's getting hard to remember all this, but I think you can go to 150 if you level to 10 so think about doing the quests around Exodar while you're there or leveling to 10 before going. That will save at least one future trip to Exodar.
