Stuck in BlacksmithingFollow

Hail great Wise Ones of this forum. I a lvl 40 rogue orc on Trollbane. I had planned to make this 'toon a Weapon smith. I have made nothing other than weapons all the way up from blacksmith start. At this point, my skill is at 266.

The Armor smith trainer in Orgrimar is offering me training (I have not taken this), but the Weapon smith trainer is just offering me recipes----but it says blacksmith recipes of 260 are unavailable to me, as they require Weapon smith specialty.

I am worried I have done something wrong as I already knew I would have access to specialization at 40, but I can't get the Weapon smith to offer it. As well, I have checked my quest list and there are no Blacksmith quests.

Can anyone recommend a step I can take to get the Weapon smith to give me training?

Well, I took the kind and wise lady Karlina's suggestion and talked to the trainers in the Orgrimar Blacksmith area in the Valley of Honour. Eventually, I talked to Krathok Moltenfist and he offered me a choice---Armour smith or Weapon smith. When I chose Weapon Smith, the quest "exclamation mark" disappeared over the armoursmith trainer, and appeared over the weapon smith trainer.
