Market of epic gemsFollow

I have gathered a nice little pile of badges which I want to transform in cash via epic gems, buy them with badges and have them cut by a guildie.

However I really do not know which would be the best cuts to sell. Perhaps ones for PvP? Ones for melee? Stamina? What did you guys see that sells best in these times?

Thanks.

Just check your local AH for prices. It'll be much more accurate than us here guessing at what the market is like on your server.

I have, but I am not sure I can/did interpret it correctly. There are so many types of epic cuts, and so many varying prices, some sitting there for a long time, others for a short time, some cuts not there at all and I don't know if they were sold already or they are just not that wanted.
I do not PvP at all so I have no idea what someone would want in their PvP gear, and that does not vary from server to server.

If you're looking to sell them, you can hawk them in trade. I see people all the time hawking "any epic gem XX gold" and the idea is the person selects the gem and you buy it for them and trade it for gold. If you want to get it cut also, you'll probably have to team up with that guildy of yours. On my server, uncut the gems seem to go for 300 gold.

Good Luck.

Depends on your local AH/Economy, but with that said, here is what i have found in my little experience,

Solid colors sell for more then split colors. IE, red gem cuts sells for more then green.
Red and blue tend to sell more then yellow.
well, anyway, maybe that helps you a little. check your AH, its not hard to set the filters to Epic quality, Gem and then search.

I'm honestly hanging onto my badges. Even if I replace the gems later, the gens I get from badges will be a nice leveling tool. They're not THAT much lower than the lich king ones.

I wouldn't hold onto them too long. I heard that all your accumulated badges are going to get wiped, just like honor, when the x-pac comes out. I haven't seen it posted anywhere, so I would double check that info.

There was an epic amount of QQ about the honor/badge wipe so Blizz changed its mind and decided not to - they're just making the PvP gear more expensive instead.
